A lovely Meiji Japanese cloisonne vase with chrysanthemums tied on bamboo pole with pink ribbon. A butterfly on reverse side. All on a lovely muted shade of blue gray. The beautiful white spider mums are touched with green. Dates circa 1890. This piece is done in the style of one of the greatest makers of Japanese cloisonne, Namikawa Sosuke. 19th century Chinese porcelain snuff bottle with biscuit type finish with 18 wise men depicted, hand painted. Chien Lung mark on base. Measures 3 1/4" high, 2 1/4" wide and about 1 1/2" deep.
