Featuring a superb antique Japanese Meiji era cloisonne enamel basse taille cabinet vase with two koi. Beautiful basse taille engraving on fish and other sea plant life under the transparent enamel. Fish realistically rendered and almost seem to be moving, as light hits them in different spots. Just amazing! Measures 3.5" high x 2.5" wide. Dates to the early 20th century. Pair of Chinese hand carved wooden guardian figurines. Excellent condition. No repairs or damages that I know of. I assume the guilding is meant to look like this, but I am not an expert on this type of work. Very well done carving/workmanship with powerful expressions. Date to the 19th century to the best of my knowledge. Aproximately 51/2"-6" tall. These came out of a local estate of a knowledgeable collector who only had the best. Beautiful medium size Chinese rose Mandarin teapot with excellent art work and soft golds dating 1736-1795, the Qianlong period. The teapot measures 5 1/4" high, approximately 5" in diameter, and about 7 3/4" from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle.
