A lovely Meiji Japanese cloisonne vase with chrysanthemums tied on bamboo pole with pink ribbon. A butterfly on reverse side. All on a lovely muted shade of blue gray. The beautiful white spider mums are touched with green. Dates circa 1890. This piece is done in the style of one of the greatest makers of Japanese cloisonne, Namikawa Sosuke. Featuring a fine, old, antique Chinese jadeite bangle bracelet. Interesting coloration, shading from white, to pale green, to a touch of pale tan, to bright apple green. Just beautiful and carved from a fine piece of jade. The width of the entire bracelet is 3 5/16". The width of the jade itself is 3/8" round. The opening is 2 1/2". The weight is 70.5 grams. Featuring a superb, rare, museum quality, impressive, monumental, Japanese cloisonne enamel vase with raised archaic design. The rare raised technique is known as moriage. Vase measures 14 3/4" tall x 9.5" in diameter at widest point in the middle. The neck opening measures 5.25", and the base rim measures 6". The vase weighs 6.5 pounds.
