A handsome, aristocratic gentleman, probably American, very finely executed, watercolor painting on ivory, dating to the early 20th century. This man has an exceptionally gentle, kind look in his face, eyes and expression. The well coiffed beard and mustache details are so well painted, as is the entire piece. He is wearing a dress suit, vest, and tie with a stick pin. There is a signature and date in the lower left hand corner that looks like it could be N E Cummings 1920...

Featuring a lovely antique miniature painting on ivory of an aristocratic lady, probably English, with landscape setting in background on left, and a green drape on the right. She is wearing a rich velvet maroon colored dress and wearing a matching hat with white feather and a triple strand necklace of pearls. Artist signed Dumas. Dimensions, 3.5" tall x 2 3/4" wide. Nice thin metal frame with ring for hanging. Excellent, original condition...

Miniature water color painting on ivory of a distinguished gentleman artist signed JC, set in solid gold frame with ring and hanging ring if worn as jewelry/pendant. The portrait could be of Teddy Roosevelt, not sure. On the gold back there is the stamp Black Star & Frost which was a prominent, well known fine silver and jewelry store in New York city similar to Tiffany's. It latter became Black Starr and Gorham. The frame is not marked, but it has been tested at 14k-18k gold...
