Featuring a wonderful Chinese export sterling silver handled magnifying glass. The handle probably came from a 19th century umbrella or cane handle and was converted into a magnifying glass in the 20th century. The repousse handle is completely covered in exquisite work with birds, butterflies, Chinese men and many forms of flowers and plant life. Handle measures 5.5" long without adapter piece, with it, measures 6.25" long, and overall, measures 10.5" long. Diameter of magnifier measures 4". Piece surrounding glass appears to be silver plate. Glass is good quality and has no wear or scratches. All in excellent condition. Engraved initials at end of handle. Very well cared for. Return privilege, providing item returned in sent condition, within 3 days of receipt, and the way it was packed if possible.
