Featuring a very fine quality, handsome antique Japanese carved ivory netsuke of the God of Good Fortune, Jurojin, the Taoist god of longevity. He is with a companion, a crane, also a symbol of longevity in Japan. The crane has a genuine coral stone set in his head. Wonderful movement in robe, great patina, workmanship. Signed on underside. No damage, restorations. Measures 1.5" tall x 1 1/8" wide x approximately 3/4" deep. Dates circa 1890. Return privilege providing item returned in sent condition, within 3 days of receipt, and the way it was packaged/sent. Sales tax charged if sold in NY state, unless valid sales tax number provided and signed form.
