Featuring a dramatic antique Japanese carved wood netsuke of gamma sennin, one hand to his head, his sleeve blowing in the wind, and the other hand holding a frog on his leg. Dating to the 18th century. Wonderful expression/flowing lines. Dimensions, 1.5" high x 1 1/4" wide x 7/8" deep. Condition, very good to excellent. One foot appears to have been chipped, but it is a very old chip, and the wood has darkened from age so it is not noticeable. There is also some wear to the hematoshi from being worn.
