A rare and superb Belle Epoque 14k yellow gold peridot,pearl and diamond lavalier brooch. Beautiful shape with two veined lily pads at top, one with bezel set small diamond, both lily pads divided by prong set fresh water pearl bud. Below that is a prong set peridot surrounded by perfect little okoya pearls, each set on a single pin. Below this is a twisted wire and ring with another fresh water pearl drop. Not stamped, but carefully tested at 14k. Probably made by one of the fine Newark, New Jersey companies in the late 19th century, circa 1890. This exquisite piece can be worn as a brooch or pendant. 1" wide x 1 1/2" long. 5.1 grams. Excellent condition. No repairs, replacements, or damages. All original and mint, but needs to be cleaned.
