 Sold, thank you!
Wonderful porcelain figurine of peacefully sleeping white cat, possibly Nymphenburg, European or Japanese. Finely modeled with unusual colorful bow. Very life like and great shape with its rear haunch curled under chin with tail. I love this little guy. He measures 6" long, 3 1/2" wide and 2" high. He is in purrfect condition except one tiny spot on the rear tip of his right ear which feels just a tiny bit rough and I think is a burst bubble from a firing flaw and in the making. No mark(wax pencil is my inventory mark) and will wash right off. The bottom is partially glazed and unglazed.I believe it dates to 1900 and is either Japanese or European. From a local estate of a knowledgeable collector that belonged to the Antique Appraisers Association of America and had a very fine collection. Satisfaction guaranteed or money back. 3 day return privilege providing item returned in sent condition. Sales tax charged in New York state unless valid resale number and sales tax exemption form supplied.
