| Very fine well decorated 4 3/4+" small Japanese Kutani cabinet vase with much detail. One panel with very artistically painted herons or cranes, the other with 6 men reading a scroll under a tree. The back ground with much detailed brocade design and 2 panels with stylized phoenix. Neck and foot with different designs. Much gilding with typical Kutani orange red color. Excellent condition with no wear to gold, which is unusual to find in a piece of this age, dating to last half of the 19th century. Nicely signed on underside.
