Beautiful little sterling compact with shimmering, brilliant transparent blue enamel over an interesting design tooled(guilloche) into the silver and a black enamel boarder. The sides and underside are decorated with a fine design also. The mirror has a small amount of wear. A pink powder puff is included. The boars head, the hallmark for French sterling is in the center of the interior bottom half with a number(see photo). Dating to the first quarter of the 20th century, it is in excellent condition with very minimal wear to the top which is only seen through 7 power magnification and no damages, chips, or restorations, all original condition. The box closes tightly and measures 1 1/2" in diameter and almost 1/2" high. Would make a great addition to a collection of boxes or compacts. Return privilege providing item returned in sent condition shortly after it is received. Postage insurance extra. New York buyer pays their county sales tax on item and shipping charges unless valid tax number and resale form provided.
