Featuring the smallest Meiji Japanese cloisonne enamel box I have ever come across with an unusual subject matter, grapes, leaves, and a small insect. The reverse with a 16 petaled chrysanthemum and leaf design found on imperial presentation pieces. Possible a presentation gift from the Meiji emperor. The interior is lined with silk. Brass and silver wires. 1 5/16" in diameter. 7/16" high. Very tiny, rare size in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, damages, or restorations. Postage/insurance extra. Return privilege providing item returned in sent condition within 3 days of after received item. Sales tax collected unless valid tax number and resale certificate provided.
