Featuring a one of a kind English sterling silver miniature sword that could be used as a letter opener or paper cutter knife. Fully hallmarked with the lion for England, leopards head for London, Victoria's head for Victorian era, and date mark D in a shield for 1879-1880. Makers mark EHS. Both scabbard and sword stamped. Chain with ring for hanging as for a chatelaine attached. Beautifully made and unique. Worthy of being published in a book, as Stephen Helliwell's book(Christie's Collector's Library), "Collecting Small Silverware". Measures 5 1/2" long and in excellent condition with no damages or restorations. Inventory number will be removed easily if sold.
