Featuring a beautiful cherry red Webb cameo art glass scent bottle. The white outer layer with finely wheel carved passion flowers, leaves and stems is stunning on the cherry red background. The floral repousse sterling screw on top, with original cork lining, is stamped sterling with a star hallmark, and Theodore B. Starr, a fine American New York city jewelry/gift store that competed with Tiffany's in the late 19th century. Excellent condition with no chips, damages or restorations. There are a few minor tiny bubbles in the white overlay that occurred in the making. They are not objectionable. The artistry in the carving of the passion flowers and leaves is especially lovely and fairly unusual. The color combination is most desirable. Bottle dates to the late 19th century and measures 3 5/8" long and a hair under 1 1/2" wide. The hand made repousse top, with a rose, another flower and leaves, is in excellent condition. My inventory number will be removed if purchased. Return privilege providing item returned in sent condition, within 3 days of having been received, and in original packaging. Postage/insurance extra(no handling charge). Sales tax collected in New York state unless valid resale number and sales tax form provided.
