| MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PIECE IN MONTHS !! Fabulous ivory eagle head carved back and front in wonderful detail and set in a sterling sculpture -- hood, robe, belt with tomahawk, turtle, lizzard -- the person is about 8 inches of the 9 inch height -- it is removable from the sterling stand to be worn as a pin or pendant -- the stand is sterling and has a platform for a candle or incense -- it also has holders along the back --10 holders -- there are 6 feathers that fit in them -- the piece is titled SPIRIT WATCHER -- from his Spirit Watcher Series it is signed J. PINKEYE -- he is also known as Jeff Storey -- a half Cherokee sculptor that was the subject of a feature story in SOUTHWEST ART Magazine in December of 2008 --- check it out online !! He has moved on to 6 foot tall statues with artifacts and removable jewelry -- this piece from the late 20th century is a treasure !!! straight from a New York home --- please check the photos and feel free to email question | ||
