This is a Sterling CHRISTENING CUP made by SHREVE CRUMP & LOW ca. 1885. This is a HEAVY GAUGE STERLING Cup weighing 7.33 ounces; dimensions are 3" Cup Diam. X 3.5" Tall X 4.5" Across Handle Edge to Cup Rim. The mark on the bottom reads: from Grandmother/ SHREVE, CRUMP & LOW/ BOSTON/ 925 STERLING/ Pierce. Monogrammed front: SHP in Swirl Script and beneath is the date: 1885. Condition is EXCELLENT with zero Dents, Dings or other Detriments.
