| This is an Exceptional Carving Executed in Elephant Ivory. From a Large Maryland Collection of ANTIQUES and ART this Piece is circa first quarter of the 20th Century. The Carving measures just under 5" tall X 2 3/4" across X 1 1/4" in width. Carved in PROFILE this is a HEAVY Piece of IVORY with Visible Grains. First side depicted is without cracks and has a Smooth surface; back does show Age and has some visible cracking. All this is Normal and Intrinsic to the IVORY and Should Not deter the Collector when Determining the Value. A BEAUTY. | ||||||
