A large and nice jun yao bowl of sky blue colour. It stands on a short recessed foot rin and then everted upwards towards a slightly straighten side and then towards the rim it folds slightly inwards. There is a slight colour variation between the actual bowl glaze and the photograph taken.

This is a small Tang dynasty (618-906 A.D) sancai water dropper in the shape of a mystical animal, possibly a foo lion, in a curling up sleeping position. The water hole is created on the back of the animal.

There is no repair or restoration. Minor abrasion, pin hole, bubble burst and degradation.

The measurement of the water dropper: Height 3cm, the Width 5cm and the length is 6.6cm.

This is a small Tang Dynasty funerary sancai or tri-colour tea cup. It stands on a flat and small footrim and then everted flat and vertically upwards towards and everted mouth rim. The tri-colour are green, beige and amber, both in long streak in interior of the cup and some form of flower motif on outside.

There is no repair or restoration, some abrasion, firing and manufacturing faults which can be seen on the photos...

This is a very finely potted Northern Song (960 A.D – 1130 A.D) dynasty qingbai or yingqing zhadou vessel with an aqua sea greenish glazed. It stands on a flat base curving towards a deep baluster or bulbous body towards an everted wide flared mouth. zhadou are commonly used as refuse vessels placed on banqueting table as receptacles for fish or meat bones. Nice pooling of sea green colour at the neck and base of the zhadou.

There is no repair or restoration, chips or glaze fritting...

This is a nice small sancai glazed tazza cup from the Tang dynasty ((618 – 906 A.D.). The tazza is decorated with small round spots of flower like pattern with three cream spots and a brown dash in the centre. The background is glazed in green colour. The glaze on the outside of the tazza flows just below the cup, exposing the buff colour of the stem and the spread out foot.

There is no repair or restoration, crack, chip or glaze fritting. Some abrasions can be expected...

Dated to the Yuan dynasty, it is of thick celadon glaze of dark greenish yellow body, which has beautiful crazing line. The body is of pale gray materials with the base shown burnt to a dark reddish brown colour. The small longquan vase could have been use for either storing medicine or just as a small vase. This is a fine reddish brown piece of bronze censer. It is of bombe shaped standing on three short feet resting on a curved lotus stand. On the underside of the bronzer censer, it bears the Ming dynasty Xuande reign mark but from the Qing dynasty, circa. 18th century. The stand is included with the censer.

The fine bronze censer is in very good condition.

A beautifully potted octagonal Jun-Yao bowl from the Song Dynasty (960 – 1276). The colour of the bowl is more to the purplish side than blue hue that is shown in the picture. This is due to the light reflection that throws out the blue colour. The foot stand is burnt to light russet brown in colour with a small chip.

Some minor abrasion. A single chip to the stand of the bowl (Picture 6). There are no crack, restoration or repair. It is in good condition.

This is a small earthenware Sui dynasty (A.D 581 - 618) lotus design comestic box. It has three small rounded compartment. The top part shows the lotus bud, pods and leave. The three flowers below are shown as three small comestic boxes in melon shape.

Aside from some abrasions, there are only minor chips at the base (picture 6). Other than that, it is in good condition.

This is a fine ovid yingqing meiping, It is designed with a simple incised line without the engraving of any motif. The meipimg is divided into four equal segments all divided by two parallel incised lines. Within all this incised lines, the greenish glaze can be seen pooling at the recessed part. This is a fine, beautiful and brightly coloured example of a small “Jun” ware bowl which was treated as a “manufacturing defect”. The bowl is well glazed in a bright lavender colour with pooling of a bright blue sky glaze at the base of the bowl. It would have been a fine piece if not for an overglazed which has resulted in an overflow of a big pool of the glaze down to the sagger. When it cooled down, the glaze glued the base of the bowl to the sagger. This is a good Song dynasty (960...
