This is a beautiful blue and white medium size brush or joss stick stand. It is decorated with the character “shou” meaning long life in the centre, with two kui dragon with split tails to the left and right of “shou” character, and scrolling foliage all over. The sides is decorated with lotus flower and below it is a ruyi head amidst scrolling foliage. The blue and white brush or joss stick stand has a honorific Qianglong seal mark but is from the early 20th century. Probably between the late Qing dynasty and early Chinese republic period (1900-1949).

The blue and white brush or joss stick stand is in good condition. Only minor abrasion on all the edges, wear and firing faults at the base as shown in picture 6

The dimension of the blue and white holder: The width is7.4cm, length is 15.44cm and the height is 13.3cm.
