Fabulous and very finely made, these lovely 18kt white gold earrings each contain 8 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing .22ct each (total diamond weight of .45ct) and a central round bright blue sapphire of .26ct each (total sapphire weight of .53ct). The diamonds are a very white G color, SI 1 clarity. They shine beautifully and would make a wonderful 21st birthday present, wedding day earrings or just everyday wear with a t-shirt and jeans. American born David Webb became the 'go to' jeweler in NY in the 1950s and 1960s with his variations of flowers and other organic themes. The discerning jewelry clientele of NY and the world flocked to him and in the 1970s, noticing the change in the times, he began designing in the new style of geometric shapes of enamel, diamonds and gold. These chic and elegant earrings are reminiscent of those designs with their rich black enamel divided into quarters by the brightest and cleanest diamonds, accented by one central diamond.
