A totally modern and fabulous 18kt yellow gold ring cross set with five (5) square step cut channel set diamonds flanked on either side by a row of five (5 in each row) square step cut bright blue channel set sapphires sloped in opposite directions. Also known as a 'toi et moi' ring (meaning me and you), this style was very popular in the Victorian and Edwardian eras representing the intertwining of two souls and has thus been given very often as an engagement ring. This unusual ring is made of platinum over 18kt (marked 750) gold on a gold shank, it contains one (1) bezel set old european cut diamond of approximately .50ct, G-H color, VS clarity and one (1) bezel set faceted bright sapphire measuring approximately 4.6mm in diameter by 3.2mm in depth. The shoulder contains an additional five (5) old european cut diamonds on each side of approximately .10ct for a total of .20ct. This ring is absolutely stunning and one of the prettiest ones I've seen.

A bright and glistening old european cut diamond of approximately 0.93 carat is set into an 14kt white gold filigree mounting adorned with a simple Edwardian swag motif. Elegant and unembellished where all the focus is on the center stone of immense brightness and clarity; estimated of H/I color; VS 1 clarity.

A native New Yorker, Charles Krypell began his career as a sculptor before becoming a world renowned jeweler; looking at this exquisitely crafted ring, his sculptural background is supremely evident. Fabricated of 18kt yellow gold, this design is from his "Pastel Collection" and contains a fancy cut peridot of 4.94 carats surrounded by 16 pave set round diamonds set is a lovely fluted motif. The split shoulders and undercarriage contain 74 additional round diamonds (90 diamonds total) for a total diamond weight of 0.55 ct, all H color, VS clarity. I do love the Schlumberger designs and this is one of my favorites; the 5 row rope band with 8 rows of diamonds crossing and a diamond weight of approximately 0.50 ct. A beautiful, clear step cut aquamarine ring set in platinum accented with a small emerald cut and a small round diamond on each side. The aquamarine sits in a beautifully scrolled handmade mounting which highlights the clarity and brightness of the stone to create a stunning ring. The aquamarine is approximately 18 carats. Ring is in excellent condition with slight wear marks on the shank typical of the age.

Set into the center of this navette formed ring is one old European-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.30 carat, I-J color; further set with old single cut diamond melee and French cut synthetic sapphires. The entire flank is hand engraved and the mount is embellished with mille grained accents.

Through-out history, amethysts have been believed to keep the wearer clear-headed and quick-witted. The name comes from the Ancient Greek, referring to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness and thus, seduction. It has also often been associated with royalty; especially in English history and is often seen in royal jewels and regalia. This beauty is a newer version of a Victorian ring; an almost exact copy of one that my grandmother wore from her own antique jewelry collection. The clear purple central stone is surrounded by lovely bright royal blue enamel interspersed with 10 approximately 5 pt diamonds for a total carat weight of .50 carat. The shoulders are accented in a blue enamel design continuing the theme.
