Shien Pagoda in Snow Date: 1930s ~ 1950s. Publisher: Watanabe Shozaburo. Size: Approximately 6.0 x 4.0 inches. The Shien seal is a house seal used by Watanabe Shozaburo. The designers of the Shien prints are thought to be Hasui, Koitsu and Kasamatsu. The respective styles of these artists are apparent in the different Shien prints. This woodblock print is tipped at the top edge to the front of a 1953 Japanese Christmas card. Catalog no.: SH-3 on Shotei.com. Condition: Excellent. |
