| This is for a set of 6 Sumida Gawa tankards. They are 5 ½ inches tall and 5 ¼ inches across including the handles. There are various decorations including 2 showing men with snails, one a man with a pagoda, one an old man reaching for a drink bottle, one a child reaching for a bottle and one a man reaching for some rocks. There is some wear to the orange paint on all of them. There is a chip on the mug with the man with the bottle. There is some damage to the robe and the beard of the old man. The one with the boy with the bottle has a broken hand. All the other ones appear to have no chips, cracks or repairs. All of the tankards are signed on the cartouches Inoue Ryosai. | ||
