| This carved lacquer tray is 3 7/8 inches long and 3 inches wide. The cinnabar is on an iron base. It is hand carved and took marks can be seen. There is a spot on the foot where the cinnabar has broken off the iron rim. There is no other damage. We date this to 1880, though it could be earlier. | ||
