| This covered cup is beautifully decorated with three panels with various mountain ranges. Two of the mountain ranges have water in the foreground. The panels are set among pink and white flowers. The cup is 2 3/4 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches in diameter. The lid is 3 inches in diameter. Inside the bottom of the cup are painted two flowers. The cup is signed on the bottom in red. The first two characters mean Sat-suma. We have not been able to interpret the artist though it ends with zan or yama. There is no damage to the cup. We date the cup to the 1920’s or 1930’s. | ||
