| This sterling bowl has repousse decoration of various types of flowers on a stippled background. It is 7 5/8 inches in diameter and 3 ¼ inches high. It weighs 14 ounces. It was made by S Kirk & Sons, a leading silver manufacturer of the late 19th century. It is monogrammed and we think the letters are TW. Though if read upside down it could be ML. It is marked on the bottom S Kirk & Sons, 925/1000 and has a pattern number of 147A. The letters ai are engraved lightly in cursive to the right of the pattern number and probably represents the engraver. There are some light scratches and a few pin hole type dents in the bottom. There is no other damage. | ||
