| Mid-20th Century Dino Martens Art Glass Lamp, for Areliano Toso glassworks. Unmarked, but unmistakable, documented designer and maker. Wavy lattimo (white) cane alternates 3-to-1 with brilliant, pure copper aventurine cane, in a typical Martens style and the pattern, "chevron reticello." This rare and fine lamp measures 15" (38.10 cm) table to top of socket, 4" (10.16 cm) diameter at the marble base. the glass is 9.25" (23.49 cm) tall by 4" (10.16 cm) to 2.50" (6.35 cm) diameter. Metal top ring and base leaf metal are slightly oxidized, Italian marble base has a few, very minor and tiny abrasions, glass is in excellent, undamaged condition. c. 1940-1960. $25 US Shipping. | |||||||||
