Fabulous PAIR OF HELMETED, PEARLED GUINEA FOWL, by Ugo Zaccagnini, signed on base with the logo "Z", "Italy," pattern number "1696/525," and "K.B./N.Y." KB stands for Koschera Brothers (1895-1970s) who were New York importers, bringing many beautiful Italian goods to the U.S., primarily pottery and Murano glass. The marks on the base positively date these pieces to the date range of 1937 to late 1950s, and the handwritten import initials also indicates an early date because later imports had the blue and silver KB labels. Our pearled (white dots) Guineas measure about 6" x 3-1/2" x 7-1/4" tall. They are in their original, undamaged condition, and will make a striking addition to any fine decor, or an oustanding set for your figurine collection. $18 US Shipping. |
