Striking Pair of 20th Century Spanish-Colonial Painted and Gilt Wall Shelves, completely handcrafted in Peru; export label with the central Coat of Arms of Peru, states: "No Pertenece al Patrimonio Cultural de la Nacion" = "Does not belong to the cultural patrimony of the nation." The shelves measures 17-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 16" tall. Condition is very good, with some normal wear; plus one shelf has a corner abrasion lower left, pictured (an uncomplicated repair if desired, but not unsightly in this state); plus both shelves have small losses to the gesso.
