Against snow white ground, is an oval portrait cartouche filled in with malachite green enameling, and encircled with brilliant gilt, tiny green enamel "pearls" outline the gilt. Verso cartouche is a highly stylized fleur-de-lis of green and gold; the same design appears four times on the lid -- two green and two gold -- with the lid being topped by a gilt acorn finial. The two figurehead "angels" or "flying mermaid" handles are resplendent with much gilt and accented, again, with the green "malachite" enameling. Gilt bands appear on all rims, and at the urn's waist.

It measures a large 11-1/2" tall, 6-1/2" rim diameter, 9-3/4" from handle-to-handle, 5" base diameter.

Condition is excellent with only minor gilt losses, normal and minimal firing anomalies from original manufacture.
