1982 Landscape Painting Vasily Golubev 1925-1985
$1400

Russian Oil Painting on artist's card panel, titled "August," by important Soviet Russian artist, Vasily (or Vasili) Ivanovich (or Vasilievich) Golubev, unsigned, although noted and authenticated on verso by Ukrainian gallery director, as to artist (using the Cyrillic spelling of his name), title, date (1982), size (34x49 cm), and town, "Ivano-Frankovsk." We believe this painting is of the Karpaty Mountains, in the Ukranian region of the Carpathian mountain range, or Eastern Section.

It measures 13" x 19", and is newly framed in platinum wood to 18.50" x 24". The painting is in great condition with the exception that a substance which we believe is varnish has dripped on it in 5 or 6 spots (see photo with blue arrows showing the most prominent of the drips), removable by a professional. Painting has been priced with this removal cost in mind. c. 1982. $45 US Shipping.
