Dini & Cellai Pottery Vase Greek & Roman Saturnalia
CONDITION: very good, one small flake to rim, pictured.

Impressive high relief large WINE BEAKER, VASE, with mark of "Dini & Cellai Signa, Italy," on the base.

Beaker figures are both human and mythological, appearing in various modes of celebration during the "Saturnalia," "Bacchanalia," and "Dionysia," all Festivals of Humanity held by the ancient Greeks and Romans.

Large enough to hold flowers, paint brushes, pens, pencils, silverware for the buffet -- or simply to stand alone to be admired as a work of art.

Slightly oval in shape, it measures about 4-1/4" x 3-3/4" x 6" tall.

20th Century Italy.

$18 US Shipping.

We have pictured a box from the same area, also listed.
