This lamp is lovely when used as in the first photo. If desired, the pictured shade is also available for it. For many years, the owner used this lamp as you see it in photo no. 2, even though the two glass pieces are not an exact match. The lamp glass is cranberry, and the shade falls more into the amethyst category; the engraved patterns also are not a match, with the lamp glass being floral, and the shade being grape clusters. The lamp measures 14.5" to base of socket, 17" to top of socket. With the shade attached, it measures 24.50" tall. The square burnished brass, filigree base is about 5" x 5". Great condition with only some oxidation to the metal. The engraved glass shade has some chipping at the fitter rim, although it is not apparent with the fitting attached. Priced separately, we can sell the lamp ($95) without the shade, but cannot sell the shade alone ($35), unless the lamp buyer declines any interest. c. 1970 onward. $20 US Shipping for the lamp; $30 US Shipping for the lamp and shade. |
