Tibetan snuff bottle with wood body, with decorative silver base and shoulders. The silver work shows a bird with elaborate wing feathers and thin handles on either side of the bottle. The stopper lid is capped with coral and the spoon is also silver. The condition is very good. Bottle measures 3" x 2"

This is a traditional old style Chinese doodoo which is worn buttoned to the front of a womans shirt. It is made of black cotton fabric and embroidered with silk thread using a satin stitch. This rare Qing Dynasty mirror folds flat for storage and traveling. The hand-carved wooden frame depicts bamboo stalks, and the mirror cover carving depicts an iris plant in full bloom. Incredible precision is the hallmark of this hand embroidered baby carrier from Ge Jia. The piece is bordered with batik and hand stitch detail which is so fine and precise that it looks like it was done on a machine but it was definately done by hand. This vintage female Seminole Indian doll is made of palm fronds. She wears traditional costume with patchwork skirt, and a yellow bead necklace. Except for her top which is a bit dirty, she is in excellant condition. She is 9 inches tall. Thls doll is one of several Seminole Indian dolls which were brought back from Florida by a loving uncle and given to me as a very young child in the early 1940's

Suspended from a small leather belt loop, this old Mongolian pipe pouch has trekked a long way.
