| This antique Japanese cloisonne plate is extensively decorated with border pattern and 8 panels of flowers and butterflies. The center medallion depicts a bird in flight with a brown goldstone background. The back is heavily enameled with dark green in a sculptural wave pattern. All this is packed into the surface of the plate which is a mere 6 inches across. | ||||||
