Though signed Baccarat we have strong reason to believe that it is by the Smith Brothers who left the legendary Mt. Washington glass company in 1878 to form their own glass works. As such we would date the vase to c. 1880. On the other hand it may have been produced while at Mt. Washington in which case we would back up the date to 1875.
