Although the maker is unidentified there is no doubt that the quality is high. The basket is cased in clear and white glass with ruffled rim and an attached clear glass thorny handle. The main body is swirled white and vivid pink resembling peppermint candy. The condition is excellent with only a couple of production flaws evident and shown in the pictures. Underneath is the original retailer's sticker from Hart Brothers of Atlanta, GA which we date to c. 1890-1920. The gorgeous basket measures about 6" tall and 6 3/4" long.

There are many cased glass baskets from which to select but these prized pink swirl baskets are not so easy to come by. We believe that a glass basket in such a high state of preservation, superior visual appeal, and still retaining its original seller tag would be offered by a fine antique shop for 225-300 USD. We are opening bidding for a fraction of that amount in what will surely be a great deal.
