An astounding limited edition cut glass ice pail made with the finest craftsmanship with beautiful clear leaded glass. The green cut to clear employs the finest motifs from the American Brilliant Cut Glass period including hobstars, sweeping vessicas,and thumb prints motifs. The highlight is without the doubt the gravic putti / cupid romance scene. The underside is cut with sunburst design. Two applied handles assist porting. 10".
Condition is superb but there are natural small defects in the glass in various places but by no means noticeable when displayed. The gravic section is signed by the artist B Belgo??li 31/70 and probably executed within the last 10-15 years. For a visual stunner we can think of few items which could compete with this masterpiece. |
