|Rosewood display cabinet with an open top section with carved fret design to the apron, it has antique double doors that were converted into the two lower doors, with finely carved scenes of Yi Emperor who united China, depicting warriors in a mountainous landscape setting, made in Hong Kong. Calligraphy Inscription on the inside of the door panels, right door inside panel is a prologue to a poem composed by Chi Chang a famous poet from the Tang Dynasty. The moon is downing and a frost is permeating the air all around. The Crows begin to stir on those trees alongside the river. Only a few dots of light on the fishing boats moving quietly (on the river)All seems to be forlorn and sad. Then the gentle chimes from the bell of Haushau Temple are heard it heralds the arrival of the ferry boat". Provenance: Private Estate for Fifty years.
