This exceptional Japanese Six-Panel Late Edo Period byobu Screen is finely painted with a pair of cranes and an egret standing near a flowering cherry blossom tree on a gold leaf ground in squares, surrounded with an obi brocade fabric border and black lacquer frame. It was originally in the private collection of a prominent Asian art dealer. Age: Late Edo Period (1615-1868) - Size: 68 x 145 wide (172.72 x 368.3 cm)
