Description: Uniquely shaped Japanese Ikebana flower arrangement basket. Two toned strips of bamboo lend to this piece's mystique. The lower body is formed in an almost pelike shape, with alternating thicknesses of diagonally woven bamboo. The top of the basket are also diagonally woven, but are interlaced with vertical strips. Three thicker strips form a diamond on the bottom of the basket for strength.
