A graceful, striding bronze nude figure of Harpocrates, wearing the red or Deshret crown of Lower Egypt, fronted with ureaus, wearing the separately cast side lock, right arm bent at the elbow with forefinger pointing to his mouth and with well-defined hands and feet. Late Period, 600-300 B.C. 3 1/2 inches high. Ex. Benedict collection, originally acquired in Poland in the early 1900's.
