| A fine bronze figure of Osiris. Depicted mummiform, with incised facial details and smiling expression, wearing incised false beard, wearing the atef crown with incised ureaus, each plume flanked by ureaus, double ureaus beneath each plume, with hands emerging from tightly- fitted garment and hands holding inscribed crook and flail. 4 1/4 inches high. Tip of left plume gone. Late Period, 600-400 B.C. From a New Jersey private collection, purchased in the London art market. | ||
