Polychrome wood sarcophagus fragment depicting a striding Qebehsenuef, who was the falcon-headed son of Horus, and protected the intestines of the deceased. To his left is remains of a bier. Underneath are remains of hieroglyphic text. Ptolemaic Period, 300-30 B.C. 13 inches high X 5 1/2 inches wide. From an old Belgian family collection, acquired before 1980.
