Represented as a ram in amulet form, Khnum was thought to be the creator of the bodies of human children, which he made at a potter's wheel, from clay, and placed in their mothers' wombs. Late Period, 600-332 B.C. 1 1/2 inches long. Tiny chip on his left horn, otherwise intact with intact suspension loop. Ex. Gustave Mustaki collection, Alexandria, Egypt.
