Patinated bronze and silver overlay four piece desk set consisting of a large blotter with four bronze corners (one is decorated with silver - the others are plain) measuring 21" x 16", a pen tray measuring 8 3/4" x 2 1/4", a blotter measuring 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" tall and an inkwell with its original insert measuring 4" diameter x 2 1/2" tall. All in great original condition.

It has six original leaves, each approximately 14" wide, and eight more leaves that fit but are not original to the table. All together this table takes FOURTEEN leaves and measures over twenty-one feet when fully extended. The base is beautifully carved with a reeded center, lions heads and paw feet. Beautiful 19th century rosewood box containing bottles and measuring items for a doctor to put together his own remedies for patients. The beautifully grained rosewood box measures 10" tall x 12" wide x 6" deep. It has its original lock (with key) and recessed brass handles on the box, along with a bottom drawer that is locked by a brass pin that has to be removed in order to gain access to it. There is an ivory pull on the lid of the small inside box. The lock is marked "Secur 2 Levet"...
