What a stunning lady! She is a Tete Jumeau on her original marked Jumeau lady Body. Her head is perfect, and she is wearing fine original clothing that includes a highly detailed dress, a corset, a bustle, and marked Jumeau shoes. She is circa 1892, and she gorgeous in person! Layaway is always an option, but please contact me before purchase to discuss terms. Here are the details:

Head: Her bisque head is perfect with no cracks, chips, or hairlines. She has blue paperweight eyes and a closed mouth. Her marking was acid etched at the factory, although the word "Jumeau" is still easily seen, along with her size number and the typical Jumeau checkmarks. This was done as part of Jumeau's Bebe Reclame line of production, circa 1892. She retains her original cork pate, and has a nice antique mohair wig. Examination: She has some minor light rubbing and a little nick at one earring hole. For more information regarding the Bebe Reclame line, please read my blog on this subject.

Body: Jumeau made two lady bodies for use with the Tete head. This is the second body which has the more realistic proportions. It was introduced in 1891 and is marked with a Jumeau sticker on the back. A blacklight reveals that her hands have been repainted. The remainder of the body is in excellent condition with fine original finish.

Clothes: She has layers of clothing which appear to be original. She wears a two-piece dress created with many fine details. The bodice is very form-fitted and closes in back with numerous tiny hooks and eyes. Underneath, she wears many unders including a chemise, a laced corset, a half-slip with fancy back flounce, bloomers, bustle, brown wool stockings, and Jumeau shoes. Her shoes are marked with the Bee symbol, and these shoes were first introduced in 1892. Finally, she wears a fantastic antique hat of green velvet, tan flowers, and tan ribbon trim. It retains the original chin strap.
