This is an unusual all-bisque with a molded hairdo and barefeet. She is also unusual because she has stiff hips and a swivel neck - this combination is seldom seen. She is guaranteed to be perfect. She has a blue ribbon from the prestigious Doll Collectors of America (1990) and a Gold Horse award from Theriaults (1983). Layaway is always an option but please contact prior to purchase to discuss terms. Here are the details:
She has curly blond molded hair and well-painted features very much like an early Simon and Halbig. She is jointed at the shoulders, has a kid-lined swivel neck and stiff hips - a rare combination. Her chunky hands have long fingers and her barefeet have long toes. She has long straight arms and her wrists and ankles are detailed with little fat rolls.
She wears an aged silk print dress with blue silk apron in front and matching bustle in back. There is a large brightly patterned bow in back. Underneath, she wears a half-slip with insertion lace and matching bloomers.
All of her clothes are old. They are completely hand-sewn and they are all sewn onto the doll with non-fluorescent thread. I do not wish to cut off her clothing and then repair them with new thread. So I will guarantee that she is free of any damage or repairs. If you purchase her, choose to remove her clothing and then find damage, you may return her for a full refund including shipping. No risk. Fully guaranteed
