This is a beautiful German Bisque Doll by Heinrich Handwerck, mold number 69. She has a perfect bisque head and retains her original marked body. She is fully dressed in antique clothing and shoes, and she has her gorgeous original blond mohair wig. Layaway is always an option. Please contact me prior to purchase to discuss terms. Here are the details:
Head: Her bisque head is perfect. She has large almond-shaped brown sleep eyes that work perfectly and retain all the original eye lid wax. She has an open mouth with perfect upper teeth and her lips are artistically accented. Her flat eyebrows and accented lips denote an earlier model. She is wearing old earrings. Her original blond mohair wig is really gorgeous - a riot of all-over curls. She is marked 69 / 12X / Germany / Handwerck / 4. Signs of Wear: nicks at the earring holes and a pinpoint wig pull over one ear. Factory Imperfections: None!
Body: Her original jointed composition body is marked with the blue Handwerck stamp on one hip. One lower leg looks like it has the markings from a black stocking on it - perhaps it got wet - see the photo. Otherwise, the condition is excellent with nice all original finish.
Clothes: She is fully dressed in all-antique clothing. She has a sweet lace-trimmed cape that closes with a faux watch pin. The pin reverses to a flowered pendant - very cute. Her white dress has short banded sleeves, is sashed in red, and closes in back with a single button. Underneath, she wears a camisole that closes with a drawstring, and a half-slip and pantaloons that close with a single button. She wears long cotton stockings and white leather shoes. Everything is in excellent aged condition.
