| Wonderful abstract art by Santa Fe Artist Sally Anderson (1942-Rockford, Illinois)! She is listed in Who's Who in American Art and has been in many exhibitions around the country. They are a pair and are entitled "Sun Dance Chant". Now living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sally Anderson achieved prominence in her woven sculptures and later began painting and sculpting. Her art was displayed in the C.G. Rein Galleries, in Santa Fe, New Mexico for many years. These pieces are an excellent example of her work. They were done with different layers by taping off the edges and then drawing tiny lines of many angles and colors. She uses a large brush to slash on colors randomly, and then tapes over interesting areas. She uses a multitude of colors to achieve her desired effect. She is in many private and business collections in the country. One piece is signed in the lower right corner "S. Anderson" and dated 1981. Excellent condition, one small 1/2" tear was repaired professionally. Dimensions: 72"H x 45"L for each canvas. | ||||||||||
